Inauguration of New OPD Ward at Burns Center
Under CSR, Pak Suzuki has completed & handed over the Newly Constructed OPD Ward at Burns Centre, Civil Hospital in fully operational condition by donating Medical Equipment & Furniture also to Burns Centre Management. The Inauguration ceremony held on Thursday 20th August, 2020. Mr. Masafumi Harano, MD & CEO Pak Suzuki formally unveiled inauguration stone & presented the Documents to Mr. Zahid Saeed, President, Friends of Burns Centre. New OPD Ward consisted of male & female Doctor rooms, male & female Patients dressing rooms, male & female Patients shower rooms, Reception area, etc. Donated Examination beds, Stretchers, Dressing Trolleys, X-Ray Illuminator (LED), Oxygen Cylinders, Portable Suction Machines, Wheelchair, Patient Monitors, B.P Apparatus, etc. with Tables & Chairs for Doctors & Reception, Attendants’ bench, etc. & Water Dispensers. Burns Centre has been playing a vital role since 2005, in providing health care services, medical treatments, surgical procedures, etc. Currently Center has 66 beds facility with Intensive Care Units (for Male, Female & pediatric), 2 Operation Theaters and Emergency Operation Theater, etc., facilitating not only patients from all over Pakistan but also from neighboring countries Iran and Afghanistan. Burns Centre caters Burnt patients suffering from more than 50 percent burn injuries (even around 80 percent) and operate them all at free of cost. Burns Centre is also engaged in research and training of the medical professionals in the discipline of Burns Care and Plastic Surgery. Officials of Pak Suzuki, Mr. Katsunori Ashida, Acting Consul General of Japan, Mr. Zahid Saeed, President Friends of Burns Centre, Mr. Abdullah Feroz, Founding President also attended the inauguration ceremony along with other dignitaries.
